my hero is chris he stayed by my side through the darkest days even though he was in more danger than i'd ever be in his first concern was me and helping me believe that there would be brighter days...a way out if i just held on and because of that i did make it to brighter days i do believe the love he had for me saved my life

I have told this story many times but my true hero.

On the day of the wedding a groom is listening to the vows. As the minister gets to the part where he asked the groom to take his bride to be his wife, the groom turns towards the crowd of hundreds and says "before I say I do I would like you all to reach under your seats. I have taped a little gift for each of you" They reach under their seats and discover an envelope taped to the bottom of the seat. They open it and it's a picture of his soon to be bride in bed with his best man. He then looks at the bride, smiles and walks out.

He obviously knew about this for some time but instead of saying anything he allowed her parents to spend 1000,s of dollars on an elaborate wedding and waited until the very end before he humiliated her so badly.

That guy is my hero.

We do have the same sense of humor, cuz that ROCKED....drinker

I was dating a guy, and found that he had joined an internet dating site...AFTER we had been together for over a year, I printed out all the info, date he joined, emails he had sent and gotten, I then asked him, and he said he had joined before we met ect ect....

I let him go on and on about how much he loved me, and how much he was devoting his life to me, then I tossed the papers on the table.... One of the emails stated why he had broken up with me noway noway because I never wanted sex, laugh laugh I love giving people enough rope to hang themselves....devil

I am very lucky in that I literally get to work with heroes every day! I have found that they come from all walks of life and are a steady source of inspiration for me.

At the top of my list of heroes, I would place Colonel Robert Howard. He is a veteran who was recommended for the Medal of Honor on three separate occasions for three individual actions during a thirteen month period. He is the most highly decorated combat soldier in U.S. military history. Beyond his service to others, his bravery, and his valor - his commitment to our youth, his dedication to our veterans, and his love of country despite witnessing the ravages of war first hand and coming home to a country that did not appreciate his sacrifice at the time...this man is a true hero!

He is also the most humble, dignified person I've ever met. On my list of heroes, his name shines even brighter than the medals on his chest!

My hero is my co worker Danita. 2 years ago she was dignoised wih breast cancer. To make a long story short, she had her left breast removed. Never losing her gret attitude towards life, her spirit never got clouded, she never became depressed or had self pity. She taught her daughter and all around her that it is just a breast and it wouldn't end her life. About 6 months ago she had to have the other breast removed and she still has that great attitude. She has shown all the women around her what real courage is.flowerforyou

My Hero is my daughter. Because she's the one that has taught me what unconditional love really means.
