Topic: Do you find it easy to forgive? | |

Of course, if the person who was nasty to you apologizes, then it's easier to forgive them. But, if they never say sorry for treating you really cruelly, then what?

You are talking about my ex-husband!! And, I had to forgive in order to move on, whether he asked for it or not!! But, I shall never forget!! |

I only have one person in my life that I haven't forgiven. I've been in therapy for almost a year and a half for it and every time I get close to that point, the horrific memories take over and I feel like I'm right back where I started.

Ms. Carmen, having had one of the worst experiences that can happen to a woman, I can tell you, it's not easy but it can and does get better. You are doing all the right things and the nightmares will fade and eventually, you may be able to draw strength from your experience. Keep holding on, you will get there |

I forgive ppl their bad days easily, but if the attitude were constant, unprovoked, and with out a real cause, I might have trouble coming to terms with them and hold some contempt for them. It's rarely happened...but has.
