Well I just called to check on her, and they said she did get sick one more time at 1230 about an hour ago BUT they said it was right after they gave her an antibiodic that often makes them sick so ....she is getting i/v fluids, and stomach settling meds.

She did just fine over night and was moved to my vet this a.m. They wanted to continue her i/v fluids but said she is bouncing around and you'd never know she was sick.

That's a good thing to hear that it was just a bug. I just had to take Dipstick in for a check up and ended up having to get x-rays because they found some lumps. He had beign cancerous lumps.

 I had to take my Sophie to the E.P.C.C. tonight. She has been vomiting and having the runs. I'd taken something for my back pain and had slept a bit; woke up and she wasn't in the bed. I walked in the family room and it looked like someone murdered someone in there!  Grabbed her and ran. Blood work doesn't show viral or bacteria or pancreatitis. Keeping her overnight for I.V. Fluids. All vitals are good. Said if she threw up anymore they were xray her tummy to see if she had an obstruction but Doc said she wasn't acting as if she does. I am scared to death. She is all I have.

That is scary. My son's german shepherd had cancer. I had to take her in and I was the one to get the call. I felt like such an idiot, standing in the store with tears streaming down my face! That was years ago now and she is still going.

Thank you hon, me too!!! They just called and said I can come get her in about an hour. She's kept down water and a wee bit of soft food and is finishing her i/v fluids. I can't wait to get her back!
