I heard that Vietnam is a good place to vacation or visit in general. And that the U.S. dollar goes very far there. I wanted to know is that true, cus I would love not only to vacation there, but to do a little shopping.

We fought a war against Germany and Japan too. More heavy than Vietnam!! People vacation in Europe and Japan all the time. I understand Vietnam is a beautiful country to vacation in Asia. The people love tourists, especially Americans. I hear that the beaches are great!! I'd go there before I would go to Costa Rica, that's for damn sure!! |

Costa Rica......Arms for hostages.....we gave them weapons. I know this because I was dating a guy in the Army at the time. 1985. He was serving on a ship, and they went to Sandy Hook, NC and loaded weapons and ammo and then went to Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Payment for the hostages release.
