so i just got home and i was unlocking my door... and look up only to see a wasps nest.. i almost cried.

I've never been stung by a bee or a wasp in my entire life... im terrified of them... especially since i dont know if i'm allergic or not

If you have, or can borrow a wet/dry vacuum, do what I did a few years back when I had about 5,000 bees near by back door.
Get a good friend that's not terrified of them to do this for ya

1st-take off the top, and clean it out.

2nd- spray a whole can or two of bug killer into the vacuum, being careful not to inhale. They will fall into the liquid.

3rd- put top back on, plug it in, and put on heavy clothes.

4th- put the hose right up to the nest, and turn it on.

5th- RUN like hell

You might need to get something to prop up the hose. Let it run for a few hours. I had to let mine run for 3 days, because there were so many.

Let it sit for a few days, to make sure that they're dead.

Get a can of the foaming insect killer at Walmart or Home Depot. It shoots up to 40ft, covers the nest and kills on contact. And 40 ft is plenty of distance.
I have nests all around my barn. I spray at least once a week, never been stung.laugh Do wear running shoes though, just in case.....bigsmile
