I usually just get laid off. Don't think I've technically been Dumped before. Harsh word, that. I recall a few lines like, "I just don't see this going any further and I really need more", and "I don't think this is gonna work out between us." Wow...just realized how generic those are! 
I've had to say, "This relationship has turned into coworkers at home and I can't live like this." Hurt to say, but was the nicest way I could find to tell it like it was.
