I have one grams still alive... my gramps with her died 12/31/07 then my grams and gramps that I spent all my time with growing up passed away 2/10/07 the same day 18 hrs apart... I was very close to them... |

I understand, Princess. I have one still living, but the one that took me fishing passed in '78... I have one grams still alive... my gramps with her died 12/31/07 then my grams and gramps that I spent all my time with growing up passed away 2/10/07 the same day 18 hrs apart... I was very close to them... Wow, that wasn't that long ago.... Sorry about that Princess. Thank you... No it wasn't.. I still find myself picking up the phone to call her and make sure I keep her updated... Then I remember... I'm glad they're out of their pain though... |

Were they both ill? My grandfather died of a ruptured aorta, and my grandmother died of...basically old age.
My other two grandparents are still living - old, but living. |

They had been in and out of the hospital for a year.. They just kept getting sicker.. Grams had dementia by then.. the year before that, they were fine, nothing wrong with gramps but grams had had problems of different varities for years but they still cared for each other... He fell broke his arm and from there they both sprialed down hill... So sad after being so independent for so long.. . |
