Well...new, but definitely no kid! First time ever at this sort of thing, and I'm both hesitant and skeptical, but one never knows, right? A friend recommended this site, as she met the man she's been in a successful relationship with for sometime now. Any and all advice for a newbie will be appreciated.

Welcome, Ms. H !! I just started this in March and this site is a blast. If nothing else you will "meet" some terrific people. I'd never done internet dating in my life, and actually didn't bother with dating in 10 years!! But, I've gotten to know quite a few fine folks here and the forums can be crazy fun. Ms, my advise would be to start off finding friends in the forums where it is so much easier to get to know people as they share themselves and play more openly here than in awkward first emails. I have never been on another singles website and have no desire to after meeting so many intelligent, fun and friendly people right here.
