then there was the one who we emailed and IM'd for several weeks. saw him on cam...very nice looking man. he told me he was 6' tall, blue eyes, brown hair, etc.... we agree to meet. we met at the park. im sitting on the bench and this man comes up and sits on the same bench for like 15 min and says nothing. im still looking for the guy im to meet. all of the sudden this man JUMPS over next to me and trys to plant one on me. THIS is the guy i was supposed to meet. except he was bald, brown eyes, and about 5'2!!!!!!!! come to find out it was his friend on the cam and he was afraid i wouldnt go out with him if he showed himself. im like DID YOU THINK I WOULDNT NOTICE?!?!?!?! end of date immediately!!! if ya lie about that what else ya gonna lie about...i couldnt believe that!!!

this was back before internet dating was "the thing"....many years ago i belonged to a site called pogo where you can chat and play games. (still do) you can add peopel to your friends list so that you can play togehter at another time.

i started playing with this guy in the euchre rooms. we would always be on at the same time and partner up. we started with chats on the site, then IM's then emails and eventually phone calls. we talked for about 6 months. we got VERY close. we decided we were in love and wanted to meet. so he booked a flight to florida for 2 weeks vacation....

keep in mind, he had seen pics of me and i had NO idea what he looked like. could have 3 eyes and a tail for all i knew, but it was him that charmed me and i fell for....

i went to pick him up at the airport and i told him where i would be sitting he would have to find me since i had no clue what he looked like. i took a book with me to read while waiting. my face burried in the book and i could "feel" i was being stared at. i look up and this incredibly GORGEOUS man build like a brick chit house with the bluest eyes and cutest dimples is smiling at me...im like, omg no way in hell...i have hit the lottery lmao...YEP it was him. I FROZE!!! i couldnt speak, move, nothing. he came straight up to me, grabbed me and kissed me. i stood there like a damn popcicle, unable to respond. for the hours ride home he is trying to make small talk while i white knuckle the steering wheel and stare ahead.

we get to my house and he again, grabs me and kisses me and tell me he loves me and wants to know what is wrong...i looked at him and told him he was the most gorgeous man i had ever seen and i could not believe it was him.....

we were together for 4 years....btw...he never got back on that flight back to michigan

he was the absolute love of my life....everything about his was perfect....the best lover, best friend....i miss him to this day....unfortunate circumstances separated us and we lost track of each other. last i heard 2 years ago he was out in oregon somewhere....he was someone that i could be me...no judgement, no critizing....unconditional love and understanding....i dont think i will ever find that again, but i feel blessed to have had that experience at least once in my lifetime....
