Barbus and Ifritius walk in the front door of the Green Dragon's Inn, laughing back and forth about something.  Could you believe the look on that guy's face?  Oh yeah, I'll bet he'd never do that again. Come on, One man against 10 orcs, who does he think he is? Right, I could see one man against 3 maybe, but come on, what was he trying to prove? And to go in bare handed? He deserved everything he got. Muahahaha hahahha Next time he tries, he'd be going in no handed. No handed, funny, you might say he would be going in "unarmed" muahahahaha Looked like them orcs were trying to split a wishbone. muahahahaha Calliope sees Barbus and Ifritius enter the tavern..."Hi Barbus, Ifritius...where the heck have you two been?" she jumps off the bar stool and runs over to them. Good evening Calliope, why are you so uptight? What has shaken you up my little friend" "Rathil is gone and the baby has been stolen from alatariel. Esane figured out a way to break through your protection at the Inn." Barbus and Ifritius, get up, "Calliope, I need to speak to Ifritius alone..dont worry yourself so." he motions to Ifritius to follow him outside. "We shall return soon little one!" He moves the hair from her eyes and reassures her with a smile. "Calliope, I shall beg your leave my dear," he bows and leave the Inn with Barbus

the baby will be alright, and do you need to go into my room and relax along with the vampire? "Thank you for your offer, Draven, but I must clean up and feed Pan (cat)," she wipes off the tables and stacks the dirty mugs on the tray...carries them to the kitchen. Comes back out locks the door, blows out the lanterns and retreats upstairs to her room...She jumps on her bed and Pan jumps on top of her..."here you go Pan...she unfolds her cupped hands and gives him pieces of oysters and fish slices. She lays back in her bed and drifts off to sleep. |

*Alatariel enters the inn. It is quiet and she needs the time to think. There is to much going on at the guild and no one will leave her alone. They watch her like she is a new born child. She goes behind the bar poors her some Elvin Wine comes back around and sits at a table in the back.*

Finishes her wine and decides to go for a walk. Leaves the inn.

*Steps inside and goes to the bar for her brew*

*Takes her brew and looks around slowly glad that the inn is quiet for once*

Calliope jumps out of bed. "Oh my god..did I oversleep." she scares pan that he jumps like a rabbit digging his nails into her leg..."OUCH...WHAT? PAN DARN YOU" she holds her leg as she walks out the door down the step...
"Hi Sabrea, Im sorry, I should have been here to serve you. Ill be right back" She heads for the kitchen to check what there is to cook... |

Barbus and Ifritius re-enter the tavern, and seek out a corner table, to finsih their discussion about the kidnapping, and the failure of the protection spell.
I don't care Ifritius, I am not leaving here to teach at my school as long as bad things are happening here, I shall defend this establishment til the last drop of my blood. This is not your fight, why are you so concerned about what happens in a small-town tavern? In my many years, I have never found any place where I was so well recieved, and where the people who frequent here put their differences aside and just cut loose and enjoy themselves, and when a time of need comes, they have eachother's back, like I got theirs by being here, where I am needed. Had I been here, there wouldn't be a headstone out front with my blood on it. Had I been here, a second death could have been prevented, and finally, had I been here, an innocent baby would not have been lost. You big bastard, you are going soft on me, you have changed. But, no matter, if you feel that strongly about this place, I too will help protect it. You know I always had your back. Soft? I watch what I eat, look at my gut, no pudge. You know what I mean jackass. Hey Calli, how about a drink sweetie?

"Ok...brew for you Barbus and I would guess a grapan liquor for you, Ifritius." She goes behind the bar pours the liquor and brew and returns to their table. She walks over to the slate and posts the menu...

Brews' good Candy is dandy, but Liquer is quicker. Fish is good, as long as it is cooked, Ifritius and I were on some island where they left it uncooked and wrapped in a leaf with rice, eew. Yeah, that was gross, I do not recommend it raw.

Calliope took off to the kitchen. "She grabs a platter...puts the food on the plates and flies out of the kitchen to the table.
She puts one plate in front of Barbus, "There ya go," When she lifts the one up to give to Ifritius, it tips, right onto his lap..."Oh no...darn Im sorry...Here, use this." She is so embarrassed but starts to laugh. A piece of the eel tail caught his beard and just hangs there... |

*Railinn re-enters the inn. Her head has a bandage wrapped around it and she still seems a bit shaky on her feet but it is clear that she is managing better than she was yesterday. She takes a seat at one of the tables and stares at the runes she had carved on the floor trying to piece everything together.*
