I think Kimbo would be a very hard man to submit no matter who you are but yeah I think the only way to beat him is in the ground game.

I just think if Kimbo got put a guillten or rear naked choke, or **** even sometihng as simple as an ankle lock(what mir beat lesnar with) he would not be abel to do anything with it...

It appears that Tito is pretty much in a downward spiral. Unless he is fighting Ken Shamrock the outcome seems to be rather predictable in that he generally loses. And anyone fighting Ken these days should not be using the fact as a bragging right--I mean the man is about ten years past prime.

Yeah, it seems like there is a chance he'd fall into the Tank Abbot syndrome of nothing knowing what to do with a fight unless toe to toe and punching at large round thing that sits atop the neck.

true but in my book ken is still the worlds most dangerous man.... Tito just spends more time focusing on acting and tv shows then training i thought it was clear that he had not trained near enough for machida on saturday..

In his day, Ken was amazing. I mean, the guy was not just good but he was mean. I think now he has more mean than ability but no shot at him, he's just gotten older and that is no crime. I think however it was sad that he kept going after Tito (and likewise, Tito after Ken) because it just started to look sad.

Yeah, Tito got the porn-star wife, a few movie roles and just seems to be fighting uninspired fights now days.

Oh well--he'd still kick the hell out of me so I'll shut up :)

Yeah, it was a good one--someone linked it and Fedor was pretty impressive. Oh, and I agree that I gravitated toward UFC with "who is the best" but part of that is only because that is what I've been exposed to. I have seen Fedor on YouTube and on Pride re-runs but most of what I've seen is UFC based. That all stated I hear now that Tim Sylvia is going to fight Fedor and well, I think Fedor might actually kill him. I am not sure if Tim is on drugs or not but I don't think it will go all that well for him. Then again, I've picked fights stupidly before (Serra vs. GSP 1) and been so wrong. But if Tim wins you know we'll never, EVER hear the end of it from him, right?

Totally agree--I mean as a fan I have an opinion but I know that those guys, all of them that get in to the Octagon, would make me look fifty types of stupid. I study a form called Byakko Ryu Jujitsu which is 80% Jujitsu and 20% Kung Fu. I've been doing it now for about two years and it is hard as hell, but I do it not to become an MMA guy (I'm 36 so that would be my coffin) but just because I enjoy it and if I'm going to talk at all about MMA or martial arts I should probably have been in an arm bar before. I have and I won't lie--it hurts. :)

Of course I mean aside from that ankle lock lesnar killed mir... granted lesnar won that fight except the reff instead of giving a warning he broke them up when lesnar hit mir in the back of the head....
