in years gone by; my grandmother said,"we will have beans and taters,and fried chicken ." my other grandmother said,"we will eat fresh fried fish, and hush-puppies." (Both are good.) JSH what did you eat growing up??

perty much the same on a family weekend thing, don't for get the bbq ribs, baked beans, cole slaw, and tator sald.........

southern bbq pork, fried okra, fried green tomatoes, collard greens, grits, slaw burgers and sweet tater pie....to name a few. dangit! now i'm hungry
