Not necessarily, but yes the engines are very good especially fuell injected w/ twin turbos. But, if you're gonna go with the camaro engine, leave it in the camaro. '69 would be my yr of choice for a camaro. they also came/come in vettes and the gto, the new lsx small blocks are 10 times better than any import engine. and...black 68 with hideaway head lights ok I have to interject here... 67-69 were the hottest camaro's.... and the vette engines are the best... '69 SHELBY GT-500 w/ an intercooler double shot NOS system, twin turbos, and a port side fuel injection system; unleaded plus sonoco fuel a given!
