i was thinking about this the other day because i am brutally honest but
when i am i still believe that you can use some tact and not be rude and i see alot of people that use being honest as a means to be rude to people |

Then those people need to have someone treat them that way.

When you're rude, it's like you are going out of your way to hurt the
person's feelings. There are better ways to tell someone the truth. |

I think being brutallay honest is not out of spite but truthfulness.
Rude is hateful and has negative motives behind it. Brutal honesty is pointing facts out I guess |

I find being honest with tact and diplomacy will get you
someplace...whereas rudeness just breeds contempt!!!!!!!!

When people ask you a question they are looking for the sugar-coated
answer. When it's not given to them you are rude.But when when they say things like "Does this make me look fat." or "Tell me honestly." you are cruel and tactless. I'm extremely honest and will not sugar-coat anything just to spare someones feelings. They asked the question,they better be ready for the answer sugar-coated or not. Don't ask the question if you are afraid of the answer. |
