I have to get a tooth pulled. I really hate dentists. I was sitting the dentist office yesterday and Was hearing all the different equipment being used and I was starting to feel sick to my stomach
 . Anybody willing to hold my hand?

i used to be a dental nurse, youll be fine. it doesnt take long, and half the time its not necessary to use ALL the instruments unless it turns into a surgical.

I had to get a wisdom tooth pulled before, and the dentist had to stand right over top of me in order to get a good grip to get it out.

thats normal. when they cut your gum open with a scalpel to get the tooth out, and have it stitched up, thats not to great, but thats normally with wisdom teeth and molars. |

thats normal. when they cut your gum open with a scalpel to get the tooth out, and have it stitched up, thats not to great, but thats normally with wisdom teeth and molars. OH Debbie, why did you have to say that. Very back top wisdom tooth here.

Actually my dentist could not get close enough to get a proper x-ray. And because she does not do pulling of molars and teeth, she had to refure me out. Her guy was not available so she just started to go through the yellow pages, to find one that would take me quicker. Cause the tooth is broke in half. So anyways this is the first time I will ever be going to see this dentist. OK, sorry for babbling, it happens when I am nervous.

Did you let the dentist put HIS TOOL in your mouth???
I had a total of 6 wisdom teeth removed, 4 when I was in high school and 2 when I was 24yo. I now really hate going to the dentist and eye Dr.... Wish you the best.
