That's how I do it.........good old lighter and hair spray. Then they are good spiders. agreed I would probably burn my house down trying to kill a spider. that's why you lure it to a non-flamable area Lure it? What, tie a fly to a string and pull it? that could work

Your not a dork. Just different from some of us that truly hate, big time, spiders. I was going to work outside today but changed my mind. To forget about them, I'll go shopping. Have to forget about them before I go to bed tonight.......nighmares yuck

Pick them up in the vacuum???? Are you crazy. That doesn't kill them. Just gives them more dust to hide in. And you still have to empty it. Chance he might jump on you. Don't do that

9 years ago I caught one at work that was huge, truly the size of a tarantula. He lived at my daughters school for most of that year. Then we took him to the Butterfly Pavilion and Insect Center. We would buy crickets to feed him. Awesome to watch him attack. Hiker, please catch him and take him outside.

I lived around tarantulas, spiders dont bother me a bit I pick them up and put them outside, but put a wasp in my house and I am diving for cover!!!

There is a giant wolf spider eye-level on the wall behind my monitor. He's pretty much trying to stare me down. Get a jar and a paper plate, don't get bit.
