If she's into snooty stuff, go for the gold ~ Dolce & Gabana or whatever. I find a purse to be a particularly personal choice kind of thing. I wouldn't want one as a gift as it may not have the space, security and doo-dads I really want.

I agree with SKPCG, it's a personal choice...but it has to have a long strap and a bunch of pockets.
