no personal experience, but my daughter took it for several years. She hated being on it. It also killed her appetite so she skipped meals. Did it work though-yes.

What are your experiences taking this medicine? My brother was on it when we were kids..it worked great on him..then he got older and they put him on something called Concerta..which made him have a seizure as soon as he took the pill so we told doc..no more concerta.

I was on that stuff when I was little...used to tuck it in my cheek and sell it to kids for their lunch money!!

My nephew was on it until my brother wanted to see what it is like.......not a good thing to do!! He said it was the worst high he ever had, and he is a recovering addict. He couldn't do enough to burn off the high, but it works opposite for the person who needs it. It calms them down. My daughter was on Adderal, also and that worked very well.

my son was on it but not a time release so moved on to concerta which did nothing and adderal which did nothing.now we are going thru therapy and seeing a psychiatrist to try and nail down what exactly is going on.It could be aspbergers. anyway stimulants like ridelin are usually not for adults.you may want to try zoloft or one of those to keep yourself on an even keel.

i'm against any psyhc drug. my son was on (not my doing)zoloft and he committed suicide.

I am sorry for your loss....my daughter was 11 and they had her on Paxil and she was starting with suicidal thoughts......I begged them to take her off of them, but it took her attacking her psychiatrist before he would stop them.
