I thank you as well, but I must post a reminder.
Memorial Day is for remembering those who have fallen! May They be remember well! Veterans Day is a Day to remember all who have served!! I appreciate and thank you for your thoughts, but please save these thank yous for Veterans Day. I am still alive. This is a Day for those who have fallen. Lest we not forget THEM!!

Memorial Day is a United States Federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May (in 2008 on May 26). Formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who perished while in military service to their country.
To my fallen brothers and sisters, this is your Day!!

Til the day that peace is the norm and war is something they talk about like we do when we discuss Neanderthals, I'm glad to know there are good men and women who took that oath to Constitution and seek to carry it out. |

I don't have to endorse the politics, but I'll be dead before I'll ignore the men and women who are bleeding their lifes blood to ensure that I have the ability to dissent against policies I find reprehensible. and big Props to you for starting this thread! |
