Ok, I have this fear of having children of my own. Don't get me wrong, it'd be great to be a parent, but I'm afraid that if I did have kids, I wouldn't do a very good job of being a dad. That I wouldn't know what to do or how to handle things. Doesn't help that I'm an only child, and am not used to having to look out for anyone outside of myself really. I'm scared about what it would mean to be a parent, and the responsibilities that would come with it.

Trust me man I was thinkin the same thing too but than I had a mini me of my own and he is the best thing thats ever happend to me. I strive off of being the best dad that I can now............Couldnt imagine it any other way

I love my kids. It's the greatest feeling in the world to look into their eyes for the first time and have them stare back into yours and KNOW that part of you is running through them. Knowing that you had a part in creating such a beautiful little thing!
Theres no guide book, you just do what you "feel" is right and hope it catches on. |

well iam preschool teacher soo i say iam scared actually of messing up on how i treat my kids..........yet iam a preschool teacher..........well finishng up,,,,,,,,,I love children...... wiht all my heart thats it children people tell me ill be a great parent i treat my dog like a child..........so i say whatever happens happens if i turn into a parent one day.........oh well i welll treat them the best i can

Dont be scared of having kids, when it happens your fears will subside because the only thing youre going to be thinking about is that baby youre holding in your arms, and how you ever managed life with out him/her.

I think when you don't have those concerns that you should be worried...as we all would.
Everyone has that fear I think, it's perfectly natural.
