mostly to the ones who say they are only looking for friends on JSH, if you became good friends with a guy on here, would you not consider ever dating him. just curious about this.

One can never really say for sure. I am here mostly for friends because my first attempt here didnt work out so well and I would rather be alone with friends than to face that rejection again. But, you never know.

I stopped looking...he found me...we became friends...lovers and now planning a LTR together!
 It can/does happen on JSH! I'm here to tell ya.

I don't really look at this place as a dating site, but have met some great folks, male and female, just to hang with while on the computer. There are some really interesting and funny people here that I never would have had the chance to chat with if not for meeting them here.
Sure, if someone made me swoon and tickled my heart, maybe, but if it happens it will just magically fall into place, I'm certainly not expecting it. |

i'm a just friends, and i like that because it takes the pressure off of finding someone and opens up the possibility of meeting people from all over, even women, to enjoy great friendship! i never rule anything out though

It would depend on soooo many things that it's not likely they could ever all come together...unfortunately. I'm a realist...and it just doesn't seem like a "real" possibility from where I'm sittin'.

I think a lot of women use "looking for friends" because that is the truth. They are looking for friends of both sexes perhaps. Someone to talk to.
But also, it looks less like they are advertising to just get laid. LOL. It cuts down on late night instant messages from men who want Internet sex.
If I decide I want sex, I would prefer the up close and in person kind. |
