Then you should not worry about what they think, it will be their loss.

Well I won't lie to ya, I wasn't always a good guy, but I've grown up
some since then. It's my experience that I got more reponse from not so
good than good. Good guys more often than not end up with 'friends'.

I was attracted to "bad boys" when younger, liked the long hair and
leather jackets. but as you grow and mature, you tend to want more out
of life than a fun and exciting weekend.

good guys are perceived as more stable and bad boys are perceived as
dangerous and exciting... the older someone gets and the more
responsibilities they have tends to change the way alot of people look
at it

True although after being out of a ten yr. marriage for 6 yrs. At least
having a weekend with someone deeper than a rock would be a welcome
change

I think that the good boy, bad boy image gets perceived by the life
style you were raised in.

i can relate to the rock comment that's why i like women with common
sense . i've had conversations with some women where you weren't sure if
they could tie their shoes or not.

I can only speak for myself but when I was young I was good and got no
attention from the opposite sex, but when I gave them something to talk
about I became popular and this had no bearing on my home life

when you say the lifestyle that they were raised in do you mean the
environment or the type of values that the parents tried to instill?

I think more of the envoirnment you were in. My perception of bad boys i
suppose is based on me being the only girl out of 5 kids.

I choose today to live by spiritual principles. I don't have to but it
just feels better. When I didn't I was never satisfied with the woman I
was with or myself.

the only reason i asked is because i can see someone being more
comfortable around someone with that persona if they grew up around it
but on the other side about the values, i have seen alot of girls who
were raised by priests or cop, judges, etc. who went the opposite way
and i see that all the time

I would say that is where the mysterious part of life comes in that
nonuser was talking about. If they are raised by very religious parents,
they were sorta sheltered and now want to see the other side.
