two questions: If your 5 year old brought you a bunch of dandelions as a bouquet, would you appreciate it and know how much he loved you? would you feel the same deep emotions if your s/o brought you a bouquet of dandelions, or would you feel less loved because of his choice of flowers? |

I WOULD LOVE IT FROM EITHER! Why spend when the the thought is the same. To be disatisfied with selection would be kind of shallow. Am I wrong?

I think all gifts are beautiful, especially from children.
I would probably keep those flowers pressed in a book forever. |

I'd appreciate dandelions from a kid. I'd appreciate something more like wildflowers or daisies from a man. Don't care much for roses.

Aww...when little ones do that...it's straight from the heart.
That is there first personal gift to you that had no help from anyone else. Dry those flowers and put them in your scrap book |

If he bothers to pluck a weed from my front yard it's win/win.

Its the thought and action that counts.
On a roadtrip with a s/o I stopped in the middle of the road to jump out and get some wildflowers. When I got gack to the van I thought she was going to do me right then. |

Flowers, of any kind, hand picked for me by a man would get my heart started!
