Just be aware that your free-wheeling, partying, hanging-out-with-your-girlfriends lifestyle will essentially vanish once you start poppin' out the kiddies.

Take my cousin' daughter, for example- her tattooed, spikey-haired, unemployed boyfriend knocked her up (at 18, no less), and she decided to keep the baby, sighting some misguided maternal instincts.

Since having the child (a process she termed "like... totally painful"), she's NOW figuring out what the real deal is with kids- she can't go out and party all night... she can't go to concerts... she can't go out and have fun like the other teenagers WITHOUT kids can.

And THEN there is the little conundrum of just HOW in the world she is gonna pay for her baby's things, too. Neither she nor her boyfriend have gone to college, so their chances of getting worthwhile employment with a real future are next to nil, and whatever jobs they DO get will be strictly lower-blue-collar.

As hauveralan so wisely put it, don't rush into things. You'll be making mistakes that you can't fix with duct tape.

I take my kids as they come...if the children in my family are around me, I'll enjoy them as much as I can until they go home, but I'm not going to rush into a relationship to have kids. If it's meant to be, then it will happen in due course.

I'm not talking bout rushing into things.. I wanna find the right man, but before I even get married I want a career... then kids when me an my husband are ready.. I just hate waiting

When I was your age I wanted like 6 kids. Now I don't want any.
I am glad I didn't rush into anything with the boyfriend I had at that time.

walk over to the door and put head in door frame and slam door a couple of times ! now you have a head ache dont you ? now take that time's 4 , and that's the pain you will have with kid's !
