Yes I have push buttons, its a way to allow them to see your side, in some cases,,lol And its a way to SHOW others how THEY react to certain issues....

Because I uphold the 'Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you' Golden Rule, I dont believe reacting or retaliating in such a way is right. Deliberately pushing someone's buttons is spiteful and most often the result of communication breakdown. There are times when you'd do such a thing to get a laugh - and I suppose that's not so bad. Especially if the other person has a funny hang-up or habit that they are trying to break and you have already agreed to work on it together. Either way, it's manipulative. If you wanna flex your quid pro quo muscles, try flooding him/her with love and affection - just see if that doesnt bring a better result!! |
