A long time ago when I was going through my separation with my ex...I made a friend with a guy named "Tony" in the aol chat rooms. He lived in Boston, Mass. He was maybe 5'10". He had long black hair and tatoos up & down his arms...he became a really good friend via chat & phone.I can't say how many nights he cheered me up by just chatting or talking. Last I heard he was being evicted and was experiencing health problems,he emailed me and said when he got things taken care of he would contact me..and he never did.

I'm looking to find a woman I haven't met yet.  Ok, I can see how that can be taken wrong. Never mind.  I hear tell introducing yourself works well too

I found a few by typing their names into search on My Space... also (I think its called) Classmates.com (type your high school and year graduated)

Funny this topic came up....last week my very first boyfriend ever e-mailed me after finding me online. Talk about a blast fom the past. You never know who is out there looking for you~ *crickets chirp chirp chirp* Yeah, that's what I thought.

It's like...will I ever find someone I click with like that again? *sigh* It's not frustrating enough that they're so hard to come by to begin with.

Some years back, I paid one of the "Find Missing People" services $79.95 to find an old friend who had disappeared. I provided them with all sorts of information, past addresses, phone numbers, relatives, whatever I could dig up.
They told me they would contact me within 4-6 weeks. Eleven weeks letter, they sent me a note, providing me with all of the same information I had given them in the first place! (And nothing else!) The worst part was I couldn't even get my money back -- the "refund eligibility period" had elapsed during the eleven weeks I waited for their information. Needless to say, I would never use that service again.... |
