I think you're right. It makes a difference when you're completely alone in this world and no one else is lookin after your damn behind but you. I used to approach things with a lot more abandon, but I can't do that anymore 'cause if I fail there's no one there to help pick up the pieces

Myself I think that we think too damn much about other,like our kids that are grown and on their own. Bottom line,I think we're afraid of changes. Just my opinion

Well, I agree with ya there. There are some wonderful folks here and with their support here in the forums they help many of us.

Guess I am talking more the real world support. Like if I put my trust in someone, re-locate, get bamboozled or dumped or for whatever reason it does not work, who is going to physically help me get back on my feet financially and help re-locate me or whatever kind of support it is I need to move on. I've been through this and actually am just now getting so I feel settled and dug-in somewhere, I feel secure, at home and that means a lot to me. I think at some point you learn you have to make better choices for yourself and be more cautious. I've also learned to look for the red flags. If there seem to be endless obstacles to surpass in order to be with someone, I am likely now to pass it by. I think there has to be a natural flow to things and not a constant struggle. I don't know if I am making any damn sense at all...

DAMN...Ohio was fun, met rara & loulou on Sunday...good people!FINALLY got into Albuquerque after Tony & I spent the good part of 2 days in the airport. Hope to share some pictures very soon!

Visited the Aquarium and Botanical Gardens today after going out to lunch...then met Tony's mom...very nice woman, she loves me too! Tony is taking me up on the Tram tomorrow...after I talk to the school district here about a job. Friday we hit the casino!
