The seatbelt really hurt him too in the chest area...but, I'm so glad he had both because if that is what happened with seatbelt and airbag, imagine what would have happened if he had neither! And Peccy just couldn't have taken another head shot

He will be on later I'm sure. He's probably still asleep now. He was up late. Hard to breathe and sleep with a swollen nose full of blood. All of the well wishes are very nice. Peccy has not had the best of luck with automobiles ...he is one very lucky man in sooo many ways.(his closest friends here know about this) And they know how lucky he really is. Support from friends is a great healer.

If the airbag didn't deploy he could be hurt worse by hitting the steering wheel and or column. Thats a lot worse.Sometimes the bag does'nt go off in the accident then later you can just slightly bump an other car then it deploys. We are required by insurance companies to reset them after the repairs, but a lot of the cheap shops won't do it.

That is true about decapitating children. They toned them down some because of that reason. Now it is also a law in most states that your childseat if in the front, it is to be buckled in facing the rear. In fact I don't think your even allowed to have them in the front. All because of the airbags.
