Topic: How could I forget THAT!

Have you ever had a good memory suddenly resurface in your mind? Something you haven't thought of in years. Something so fabulous that it seems impossible to have possibly forgotten? Is this the strangest question of all time?

Sure do...Bourbon has a tendency to do that to me I think bourbon is the root cause of Deja Vu Deja Vu is not forgetting, but replaying a memory as it's still happening I believe.

Try going out late on a nice night and taking a walk around your old elementary school yard.

Alrighty then! Senility is at hand I guess! heavy sigh memories good and bad are always with you...some are suppressed and only need a trigger to get them to resurface.....

Try going out late on a nice night and taking a walk around your old elementary school yard. I do that around my old elementary school, the old house I grew up in and my grandmothers old condo too. When I was home visiting last week, I saw they had taken the swings that I played on down. It is for a cancer park though, but I don't see why they don't want swings now.

i often have this happen but not all good memoryies and it usually starts with my sense of smell.

i often have this happen but not all good memoryies and it usually starts with my sense of smell. Smell is very powerful indeed!

OMG! Just realized what brought it back. I drove down the street his high school was on. I just remembered something else. Cool.

That is such a good question. Sometimes I will here a word or phrase and suddenly a memory will pop in my head. Thats usually when I randomly start laughing and people look at me like I'm crazy!!!

I dont think you actually suppress a good memory....its always there....you just get so involve with today.....that yesterday is the past...
