The demon that has Jericho works for Esane, she set a trap for him. She made sure the demon fed him all the information she wanted him to know. I just found out last night after she showed up I had to go check it out.

"The dream was about the baby growing inside you, bouncing around like a ball. The baby was fine. I woke up before anything else happened. You need not worry, this will be joyous news. I fear that I know who the father is, but Im sure he had a plan." she leans back into her chair and looks at Rathil, "I agree with you, I believe Esane does feed off of negative energy. She barely responded to my questions and nonchalant attitude." She starts to laugh just thinking about it.

Exactly, she cannot stand when people do not offer her the fear or respect she thinks she deserves. Her downfall will be the unity of friends.

I thought as much. So if the demon knows that means Jericho knows also and is probably being tortured with it. Right?

Sadly yes, That is what Esane came her to brag about last night. She wanted us all to know how much he still suffered. She often frequents the plane of demons and I am sure she has been down there on more than one occasion to torment Jericho herself

Calliope nods to Rathil with a smile, "Well I must prepare the food for the day, Criani doesnt pay me for sitting and having fun, although, what she doesnt know wont hurt me." She climbs off her chair and pushes behind the bar. She wants to make sure that if the hobbits come back in, they dont use it. She asks Alatariel, "Can I get some broth for you?"

*Smiles at her and pats her on the shoulder*

He knows, and if I know Jericho. Esane made a bit mistake in letting him know because all that will do is give him a reason to fight harder. I have never met a man with a stronger will than that one.

*He stands up from Alatariel*

*He says as he looks to Alatariels stomach*

Yes Calliope some broth would be wonderful. Yes he is very strong willed. I think that is one of the things that drew me to him.

Well that is only to his credit. Hell is a place where they break down your will and strip everything you have away from you. As long as he has something to hang on to they do not have full power over him. You are an amazing woman and he knows that. I am sure you are more than enough to keep him going.

*Rathil leans over and kisses Alatariel on the forehead before turning and walking towards the inn door.*

She takes off into the kitchen and scuffles around. Grabs a bowl, fills it with clear broth and brings it out to Alatariel. "Here you go pretty mommy." she looks up at her and smiles as she feels her tummy again. She remembers the silver spoon she had found while walking through the forests some time back and how it gleamed in the sunlight like a star in the sky. Calliope had kept it hidden for fear that she might have been accused of stealing something she didnt for a change. She pulls it from her pouch and hands it to Alatariel. "I have no need for this shiny spoon. I would like for you to have it and when the baby is born, he/she will truly be born with a silver spoon in his/her mouth. "

Alatariel thanks Calliope for the broth. She refuses to accept such a fine gift, but Calliope can be very insistent. She accepts the spoon graciously and begins to sip the broth.

Calliope acknowledges Alatariels response and says, "I shall be back pretty mommy. I have to prepare the meals for today." she walks over to the slate, wipes it clean with a rag and writes.

Blackened Catfish
Boiled turnips
Hare soup, coarse meat

Calliope goes to the kitchen and grabs some catfish chunks before she seasons them. She wraps them in a thin rag, fills a glass with water, runs with care up the stairs into her room. "Pan jumps out from under her bed and begs for his food. "Here you go Pan, I have fresh catfish and spring water for you." She strokes him softly as he eats and returns down the steps to the Inn.

She goes over to Alatariel, picks up her bowl, wipes the spoon off. Calliope hands the spoon again to Alatariel and reminds her, "Put this away for use another time."

Calliope hears all the laughter in the streets and scurries to the window of the Inn. She looks out and sees so many people gathered in bright festive colors, walking back and forth, greeting others. "I wish I didnt have to work today!" she sighs and goes back to sit with Alatariel.

It is good that you have seen the baby whole in your dream. Prehaps you can be his or her Godmother.

as i walk in the inn i see everyone scurrying about. everthing is so busy i see calliope going toward the kitchen she must be extremly busy today with the festivities going on. i wonder if she could use some help

"Alatariel, I would be honored, uh? Whats a godmother? she looks with a smile on her face as she draws a blank.
