Barbus? Wow, that's something, an act of kindness from him was like getting blood out of a rock, you must have really hit a soft spot on him.

Calliope walks slowly to the door of the kitchen, turns her head and replies, "No takers on the eats I see. Well Im not going to wait. I could get you some mushroom caps, Ifritius?" She winks at him and grins....

actually, I cannot eat mushrooms, they have adverse affects on me, however, if you have anything else laying around that is no trouble, just surprise me. Thanks lots.

really? I have been known to identify magical artifacts and imbue ordinary items with powers. Like the walking stick here, carved from an elephant's tusk, it naturally had no power, then with the addition of the skull and the socketed eyes, I could either heal you or hurt you.

Very interesting. It is good to be able to work with magical properties like that.

Calliope returns from the kitchen with a large plate..A variety sampler of the menu. "Here ya go Ifritius. I hope you like it. I cook all the meals for the Inn." She places her plate on the table next to him. "Oh shoot, I forgot to put Pan in the cellar. I saw mice down there earlier. Ill be back, sir." she runs to the stairs and jumps to every other step playing a game in her mind.

Put a pan in the cellar? I do not understand. I could find you a cat rather than have you try to capture mice in a pan. |
