I was talking with a friend on here about some email I got yesterday. Someone decided to be "kind" to me and let me know "WHO" I was. My friends response was

"The kindness of the heart of a man...kind of sours it for the rest of us that are actually useful when we're kind."

Why do some think it is their place to be "kind" and tell who you are??? Especially someone who doesn't know me from Eve?

I'm confused Lily. Spose that was meant to be useful or kind?

no body has that right. no one can possibly know me better than i know me, not even my best friend. so for someone to think they can tell you who you are is wrong.

Some people just think that they know everything and that you should live life how they want life lived. They are not worth your time to worry about!

You didn't even know them from the forums? Must have been a lurker. I get a lot of emails like that. Some end up as friends and some end up like stalkers.

What's with that? I've had guys make comments to me in emails about something I posted. I'd never seen them on in threads before. Why don't they just reply in the forums?

After reading your post again that is just kind of strange.
The ones I get are not quite like that.

Oh and told me that I don't have any friends, funny I'm going camping with about 10 of them this weekend...

its just probably someone that doesn't have a life and is insecure with him/herself and needs to attack others to make themselves feel better.

I had a guy my second day email me a message that said he thought someone had done a real # on me. Umm....think I'd posted like 12 things at the time about kittens and coffee. Where do they come from? I told him I don't talk to strangers and never heard from him again. Guess he didn't have a sense of humor either.

Here's the killer too, HE emailed me first and in his final email said for me to move along....

He was concerned that I needed someone to talk to because I am so snappy, when I told him I was just fine, then told me the reason I don't have friends is because I'm so b*tchy. To which I responded, thank you for your concern, I do just fine, and prefer to associate with intelligent human beings, then told ME to move along before someone dropped a house on me....

I don't get people.

He started the conversation and then when I dismissed his "kindness" told me to go away... How kind is that?

I think people should invest in dictionaries.

But you post in the forums...I've seen you around. This is just from left field.

Watch out for houses...they drop on people all the time.
