I found this story and don't know if it has been posted in here before but thought I would share a tear.

I was leaning over the rails of a cruise ship watching the sun set over the ocean, when an older gentlemen in his late 50's came up to gaze out at the sun set, he was holding a small box in his hands.
Beautiful sun set he said with a smile, i smiled back and said yes sir its just breath taking. He talked to me about how him and his wife went on the same cruise 10 years ago on their 30'th year of marriage.
He said they had the best time of their life, he told me that he had used up all of his vacation and sick time to care for her as she had taken ill.And that he had planned to use that time to return to the ship for their 40'th year of marriage it was a promise they made.
But his supervisor told him if he missed any more work they would have to let him go. He told me he had been with the same company for over 20 years and was a loyal employee and friend to many. He said that i was standing in the same spot him and his wife stood 10 years ago,when they promised that they would return for their 40'th year of marriage. I looked in to his eyes and a tear fell from his face, he clinched the small box he was holding up close to his chest and said.
I told you abby that we would return the sun set looks the same as it did the day we made that promise. I have a few more chores to do, but ill be home soon, the children told me to tell you that they love you. And honey i love you as well,I took a step back as he opened the lid to the box and poured it out to sea. He turned to look at me and smiled and said life is short, its all about timing. I know i wont have a job when i return home and thats ok. I had a choice to go to work or spend time with my wife, nothing could ever stand in the way of my dreams. And i never make a promise that i cant keep. So chase your dreams and stand tall, you have many sun sets to see.
He turned to walk away and a tear fell from my face, it was then i knew that if nothing could stand in his way, then nothing would ever stand in mine. So follow your dreams and chase them hard, what we do today will determine our future for tomorrow.
