I don't think any one gender specifically has more jealousy, personally I think jealousy stems from childhood and that can't be accounted for all the time (my case)...either way these are the kinds of questions that no matter your answer you're wrong. You're never wrong sugar.... sometimes you are my voice of reason...

On second thought, probably They seem to make the rounds I've actually distinguished between the guy who gets pissed cause I spent the weekend outside instead of in front of my puter as a CONTROL freak. The jealous one is the one accusing me of flirting in the threads

I think it has to do more with individual life experiences than gender. I.e.- I was never jealous of another man until my wife cheated on me emotionally. Now I can say I get a tinge of jealous feelings each time the girl I'm with flirts with someone else. My brain knows it's harmless, but my heart has another feeling entirely.

Are you sure it isn't the other way around? Your heart knows, but your head feels jealous?

I must say that this whole concept of flirting comes as a surprise. I thought this site was designed for the think-tank exchange of dating practices, rhetorical theories on dating and modern dating practices. I missed the boat. SORRY

I think jealousy stems from insecurity.....If one is insecure at all within themselves, it opens it up to be jealous both for men and women.....

yes I believe women are more jealous but I think with reason. I keep hearing about loser fiancees sleeping with other women and being found out. That will make you more jealous the next time and trust will need to be rebuilt even in new relationships.
