Topic: Teen pagents...your opinion

And that is exactly the mentality that pageants promote. Well...if you could go and change them (but not abolish them), what would you do? I don't know how you could change a beauty pageant such that the emphasis is not on beauty. Lost cause, I think.

am sorry but those little girls all done up to look grown up and the way they pose...i find it terribly sad The Miss Teen Missouri doesn't allow more than lip gloss from what I've been told. That's all she's allowed to wear anyway, so it'd best be true. I like little girls to look like little girls and not Barbie myself. i hope it is true hun..good for you..and yes agree with the barbie comment After seeing the Miss Teen USA...I'm not sure about that...think I'll have my sis look at the rules again. She was wearing a lot of makeup. She looked a lot older than my niece though, are there different age groups for these things? She's only 14.
