Does the Thread Count really matter when you buy Sheets. Does one feel better than the other? What Material feels best?happy huh

The higher the count.. the softer the sheets. Egyptian cotton is the best.. and probably the most expensive too.

There have been reports about this-

Apparently, not only is the whole thread-count thing a farce, but most companies don't even have an accurate method of counting thread-count in their sheets. For all you know, that 400-count bedsheet might actually be more like 120 or less.

The smaller thread count, the sheets are usually rough and stiff. The higher thread count are nice and soft. Generally the higher thread count are more $$$.

I only like the flannel or "t-shirt" material. I don't like the regular sheets.

I love those 200+ threaded sheets. I hate the ones where you can hear the static they are so cheap ugh.
