This is in SALUTE to all of the TROOPS, from every war that was fought, here's to your bravery, your honor, your courage and to go beyond your duty to fight for the American Way. You served your country well and you fought long and hard days as well as the nights, to fight what you believed in. This Memorial Day, we all should honor and thank any one we know or see in uniform.

The Battles Of Bloodshed

From the early days of when man first had a weapon
They took it upon themselves to create great armies.
They would for their land, their honor and whatever they believed in. Some fought for Greed. Some fought just for the sake of it. Do we honor these such fools? Do we honor ourselves or our own soldiers? What about all, that gave up their lives, their homes and their families. Fatherless children, widows and widowers, nowadays, motherless children.
On the battlefields of Gettysberg, brother fought against brother. Bloodshed on fields, torn from cannon balls, musket fire, raids and burnings. The civil war to this day has been one of the worst wars we have yet, because it was on our own home field. Men, women, children all died in vain just because of greed of land and territories.
The Vietnam war was also a bloody one, with veterans to this day, living the nightmares of what went on over there. Always listening intently, making sure no one is sneaking up on them. Always ducking from shadows and never trusting in anyone. Some live in wheelchairs from either losing limbs or being paralyzed. Honorable men, with stories we don't understand, but yet, we need to listen.
Men, who came off the boats, on the beaches of Normandy, had a life span of seven seconds. Trying to scurry off the boat as quick as they could without feeling the searing singe of a bullet piercing their bodies from head to toe. Mortar going off blowing limbs from bodies. Some lying on the beach, still alive, hollering for their mothers, young men who didn't have any other choice but to go and fight. Who gave up their young lives for our country. If they made up that beach and stormed the hills, they still had to face the enemy face to face, with bayonets piercing their bodies, hand grenades blowing them to bits, shattering their lives as much as their leaders who led them up the hill. Their leaders were the ones who to take their Dear John or Dear Jane letters, send them home with the sad note that Johnny didn't make it. They will be sending his body home. He died an honorable soldier.
Now this war we have continuously going on with Iraq, is one of the most messed up wars we have had in the longest period in history. A President who isn't even thinking the devastation of what he's putting people through in our home land. It's just my opinion, I salute those brave troops for doing what he so wants to do, but all in all, I think it is a waste of a good human life, for a war that should have done been over and done with. Get our troops out of there, any good upstanding citizens, drop the H-Bomb on Iraq and wipe the country clean. Maybe then we will get Osamas ass.
In this site, we have mothers, sisters, brothers, all of you, to whom knows or has someone over there fighting for our country and for what they believe in. I honor each and every one of you and my prayers will be with you daily, in hopes for a safe return of your loved ones. Some of you are close to me, Zanne, Vicki, Nicki and a few others, and I salute you ladies as well.
So here's to all you brave soldiers who gave your all. May God bless you and keep you safe, and may the angels keep your flag waving high.
