This is my new granddaughter. She was born at 8:20 tonight. She weighed 5 lbs, 12 oz. Her name is Lily (unless my daughter and son-in-law change their minds). She is 2 minutes old in this picture.

I love that time when you can lay them down in a spot and know they will still be there when you get back.

awww she cute... when my youngest granddaughter was born less than 1/2hour after she was born she sucking her whole hand...she now 2yrs old and she was born on grandmas birthday (ME!!)

Lily is 4 weeks early. all is well though? babies have a mind of their own, when it's time it's time! Yes, all seems to be well. They will keep a close eye on her tonight. They did take her to NICU for closer observation for a little while tonight.
