I spent the weekend at the lake...but all good things must come to an end, I guess

I remember my grandparents had a place on the lake, and it had a long pier. I had a lot of fun there, swimming, fishing,... After my grandfather passed, my grandmother sold it... That stinks...I lost most of my secret hunting and fishing spots the same way... Princess  missed you. The best part is sitting around the campfire at night till the wee hours of the morning. Watching the coals shimmering and chatting. |

That does sound good...
That's why I don't hardly hunt or fish anymore. All the people I knew have passed or sold thier land for development.

It was hot this weekend but the water was still pretty cold, about 62 degrees...so the kids did not get to swim much but got the boats out and had fun. We have had a cool spring...I give it another couple of weeks and then hit the water after Memorial day.
Princess...Ada is only about 40 minutes south...I was thinking it was further. |
