*quickly changes and returns back downstairs almost running into Rathil in her haste*

Oh Rathil sorry I did not see you there

*Smiles a bit*

I just got here, I was hoping to come and clean up a bit of the mess before you arrived. I guess I was a tad late.

You were here? Why didn't anyone come find me? I could have ended this last night.

No you couldn't have. The minotaur thought the same thing. He tried to attack Esane and he is lucky he didn't end up dead for his effort. Esane is completely insane although she is also very smart and calculated. a very dangerous combination.

*Looks at her in her warrior gear*

And I suppose you are on your way out now to track her down and try to end her.

*he sighs a bit*

I really do admire the spunk you kids have when it comes to ridding the world of her. Although she will destroy you with but a thought. You are not ready to fight her.

No you are right. i know I can not defeat her yet. I am just being prepared. And if it does come to it where I meet her before I am ready maybe I can at least defend myself. And if she kills me then at least no one else will. But it must stop one way or the other.

I don't think she will honestly. If she wanted you dead you would be so already. It is clear she is gutsy enough to just waltz into this inn and murder someone. She does not view you as a threat. I would imagine that even if you found her she would not kill you. This is fun to her. She obsesses over you just as much as your nightmares obsess over her. I think that if you died she would having nothing else to live for. All she seems to have is destroying you like she was destroyed. Not physically but mentally.

So your saying i have become basically a toy for her to play with? Why t see how far she can drive me insane? Maybe so i will kill myself like my mother did? Well I am made of stronger stuff then that. I may not be able to destroy her now but I will become something better then she and I defeat her. Her insanity only makes me stronger. Yes she may be taking people who are close to me but I have had enough. I am not a child anymore. She can not frighten me anymore. And now I am not alone anymore. That is the best part of all.

*Rathil pats her on the shoulder*

Don't worry though. Barbus is out right now talking with a shaman friend of his to get some new wards for this Inn. No more death will take place in here. Also you should know that Earunder is very much alive. A good friend of mine was passing through town and he has a knack for bringing back the souls of the dead. So Earunder is up and about.

*He smiles at her*

I am sure you don't. Well I must leave. My boss is a real ogre (winks) if I don't show on time. (stands to leave. as she does she gives Rathil a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Then walks away leaving the elf with a stunned look on his face)

*After Rathil gets over the initial shock he lets himself smile a bit before he goes to work cleaning up the Inn. He begins to take out a few wands but thinks a moment and puts them away.*

No, Today I do it the old fashion way

*He says with a smile as he motions for a broom to come to him and it flies across the room to his hand.*

Well, almost anyway, he laughs, and begins to clean.

*Rathil has worked long and hard all morning and into a bit of the afternoon cleaning the inn. He even managed to clean up the room at the top of the stairs. The only stain he was not able to remove was the one made days ago where Jericho died. Rathil breathes a sigh of relief as he finishes and looks around the inn happy with his work. He smiles and takes a seat behind the bar ready for buisness.*

*Rathil has actually dozed off behind the counter as no one has visited the Inn all day.*

earundur Returns to the inn and sits for a spell before ordering a goblet of grapan liquor He thanks Rathil and sits at the bar

Ah, how are you feeling today my friend. Aside from Alatariel very early this morning you are the first one I have seen in here all day. What gives?
