Topic: hemmoroid surgery

Next Tuesday I am having hemmoroid surgery. The surgeon is going to do an exam with an scope, while I am under general anesthesia and if he finds some hemmoroid's he is going to remove them. I will stay in the hospital overnight. Has anyone had this type of surgery. Will I have a lot of pain afterwards? I have some pain now.

you'll hurt alright, i have never had that surgery, hope i never do, but you will wanna join ole spike out in the yard scooting you arse on the grass.

yes you will have pain, but they should give you pain killers and a soft cushion to sit on have a safe surgery

there shouldnt be to much pain with it afterwards....The should numb it up with some local after the hemmorhoids are removed. Dont get me wrond you will be sore but it shouldnt be excruciating. I've never had this surgery, but I do work in surgery and do them on a regular basis

the surgery isn't too bad. but, the three days with cotton up your butt and not allowed to go crap for that period, while the stitches heal, is a real eye opener

Are you sure the surgeon isn't talking about polyps, and not hemorrhoids? I hope that all goes well, and let us know how you're doing.
