i had a strange encounter with a shadowy figure standing over me a few years ago,i ran to turn on the lights and it was gone, even so,im still not going to assume its a ghost or something, cause everything has a logical explanationbigsmile

They are real. Theres one in my friends apartment, goofy thing. Like a kid or a dog. If everyones in the living room it will push something off the counter or a shelf. The other day it found a necklace we had written off as long gone (missing for almost 2 years) turns up in the middle of the floor.

I've always found a perfectly logical explanation for anything weird that's happened to me. I've had the slamming door thing happen to me before. In my apartment there are two doors on opposite walls to the outside. If the front door is slightly ajar, and you open the other, the front door is opened from the change in air pressure in the apartment. I can also close the front door if it's slightly ajar by quickly closing my bedroom door.

Took me a while to figure out why the front door was always opened when it was closed and locked the night before - because the front door often doesn't latch, and when I or my roommate opened our bedroom door in the morning, the air pressure opened the front door.

Then of course, there's wind bothering with the doors as well.

Relax, put some music on and get a drink.

My Aunt, complete skeptic. Doesn't believe in God, ghosts, angels, wishes...anything really. Then my uncle passed away 2 years ago. In the room he used to sleep in, the light on the headboard stays on, even though the cord has always been (and still is) unplugged. Certain nights, the dogs dont sit in "his" spot on the couch. My Aunt has seen him in the backseat of the car many times. And he came through (with my grandmother) when my Aunt went to see John Edward...though she didnt pick up on it till after the fact.

Yep. I'm a complete skeptic too. So here's a story for you:

In college my dad was hanging out with this guy he didn't know all that well, and the guy tells this story: This guy goes to this make out spot with his girlfriend, and starts to fool around. Then he notices a glowing character moving towards his car! It just so happened to be his friend who died a while back! He starts the car and backs up to shine the headlights on the figure, and when the light shone on the apparition, he appeared dead on the ground, like his friend. His girlfriend is freaking out, and tells him to get the hell out of there, and so they speed off, then call the police, who found nothing.

Part II of the story. My dad and a guy friend of his decided to sleep out under the stars. As they're sitting out, they notice a car driving up to the field, and parking. My dad gets the bright idea to play a trick on these people, and grabs a flashlight, and cups the top of it with his hand to reflect the light back on his face. He then walks toward the car and turns on the light. The car starts up, and he sees that the car is going to shine it's headlights on him, so he hits the dirt, and hopes they don't see him. They drive off, and later a police car drives up, shine's a spotlight around, and takes off.
