You're talking turn-based strategy. I heard Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance was pretty good. The only games like that I've played are Advance Wars (GBA) and Nobunaga's Ambition for SNES. I don't know much in the way of Gamecube. I'm trying to get into it now that I finally got a GC memory card for my Wii.

Skies of Arcadia: Legends. Its from some makers that worked on Panzer Dragoon from the Sega Saturn and its like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and Panzer Dragoon all in one. One of the best RPG's I played. |

I played Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast, and from what I've heard it's basically the same. It's a pretty good game, but I don't remember it as being as epic as you described. |

It won game of the month twice by EGM on the Dreamcast and the Gamecube and it was in the top 100 games of all time for the past 30 years. Now thats something. |
