thats true they really dont mean it. sometimes they can't express the diffrence between hating what you did vs hating you. I think anyway.

i remember i told my dad that i hate him a lot , but its only because i was very angry , we dont mean it , actually my dad is the person i love the most first God then dad

i know but i try so hard to be a good dad. she just dosnt understand how far i bend over backwards for her to have a good life ans when she said that out of the blue today i almost cried she has never said that before and i didnt know what to do.

My kids said that soooo many times growing up- but now they show me how much they love me every day!

And she will too...

my nine year old says when i say no to him..he thinks i will change my mind lol...i just ok honey if thats how you feel...ten minutes later he says i love you..dont take it to heart..they are still learning to express themselves

Somebody once told me that when the time comes for your child to say "I hate you", it means you are doing your job.

Your child is gonna say alot of things that are gonna hurt besides the I hate you. But always remember it's just their way of trying to let you know how mad you've made them by not letting them get their way at something they really really want.

I did it, and my daughter has done it as well.

I remember the first time my daughter said "You're such a mean Mommy!" It did break my heart, but I remembered that she was just saying it out of anger. I gave her some time to calm down (and me too). We talked about it, cried together, and then all was right with the world.
