For me, it would be A also. I don't use those terms unless I mean them. I was just curious, thanks for the answers. You people are the best, appreciate your honesty.

Definately a term of endearment...I dont call just anyone by one of these...you have to be special to me.... Until then its your name. nice answer.

a) A term of endearment? ---Ususally reserved for my children teens, or a significant other. I call my children sweet stuff, baby boy, baby girl and stuff but I don't dish it out to others, unless in love.

Agree with you Shaden, I am pretty reserved with terms of endearment towards others. I have to know them well and really like them before I use those terms. I have in the recent past known people who toss those terms around without much thought though, that is why I posted this, just wondering.

I use those terms all the time. Doll is my most used one I think. Followed closely by sugar. If I call someone honey, or baby...those are terms of endearment for me. Unless I'm being totally patronizing... then all bets are off on that too.

I have friends that do that all the time. If its someone I dont know, I HATE it! Dont IM me for the first time and start calling me pet names, its just weird.
