Quitting WAY too soon. I've made a number of friends here who have simply given up because they didn't meet their "soulmate" six hours after joining JSH. I mean, c'mon... online dating is supposedly "all the rage" nowadays, but it STILL doesn't mean you're gonna get an instant match-up.
That, and NOT putting up a pic in your profile. It has nothing to do with being "shallow", either- if everyone else has put up pics of themselves (some more embarrassing than others, I might add), then it should behoove you to put at least one up yourself, shyness notwithstanding. In the least, it's just a matter of consideration- you'll be doing the other member a service by putting up a pic. |

Lying.
Getting too close to fast. Guessing what the other person is thinking/doing. Not communicating fully. Having only a one dimensional relationship. Trying to continue when it is over. |
