Dated a couple of guys from internet (one turned out to be married-one rich one trying to buy my love).Talked to several others...one mamas boy...one extremly possesive jealous type...several perverts LOL... Scared now to date anyone from online. Never been to a bar though in my life and woiuldn't go alone...where else can a woman meet men??? There should be a place to take applications LOL Hell, I don't know what I am doing so i stopped doing it

Well, you know how I feel, then. It is quite a shock to find yourself alone after so many years...and you just miss someone being there...their voice, their presence...even their scent...and everything left behind is a reminder which can be saddening, but comforting at the same time. Sorry to hear of your loss.

there are local area single clubs... that arent set up as to hook you up type... its just singles that want to get out to events.. for instance hikes, coffee shops, dances, bars,kyacking, picnics etc.... you go as groups not as couples lol so no presures.. just people doing things together that may not have friends with those things in common.. and everyone is supposed to be single anyway...

That sounds good...but I live in a very small town...the drunks and dope heads hit the bars...the religious fanatics hit the churches...I fall somewhere in between

I know this is going to sound crazy, but why don't you do something crazy. You are single, so why not take advantage of it and do something exciting. Think outside of the box. Go on a cruise or to an exotic island. Go on a road trip. Get tickets to see Oprah and spend a couple of days in Chicago. Visit New York City. Go crazy in Las Vegas. You might just find not only Mr. Right (stranger things have happened), but you could also find out how much more life has to offer.
