Topic: Primitive camping anyone?

primitive camping to me is when I dig a hole in a snowdrift, climb in with my sleeping bag, and spend a night or two, Eat just jerky and a few dried fruits for dessert. True bonding with nature.

Wiley...Snow.....? I've been so excited about summer coming, but tonight I'm up with a darn sore throat soooo snow or a snow cone sure would be nice right about now. Black, I love the sound of your campsite! Have you ever gone to Gettysburg Black? My father use to take me primitive camping but there was always an old outhouse to walk to in the dark, no showers or running water. Most places I have camped since have a bathroom. A shower certainly is a nice thing after a night of fishing or sitting by the campfire.

Toasted... we are talking about a river. I haven't ever known anyone to swim in it. Knowing Muskies live in it... well?

A tent preferably one with a removable cover, a sleeping bag for two(and hopefully someone to share it with), a book, a flashlight, and some food, fishing pole and a gun. (where i go camping there are cougars)

I and a buddy of mine once went bowhunting and camped out the night before. Drank ALOT! We went to sleep and woke up to 8 INCHES of fresh snow! I said,"Where's the BEER!"
