If it's bad, it's bad. It's not "the one", ergo I wouldn't stay in it. My sister is with a guy just so she can say she's with someone. While that might stave off loneliness for a while, it ultimately is unfulfilling and counterproductive to long term happiness. That which you shall seek, so shall find you when you least expect it. but would you say "dating" casually knowing that the person isn't the "one" is ok or do you move on once you know? No, it would be a waste of time for both parties. I would move on once I know that they aren't right for me. |

Have had a lot "nope, not 'the one' for me" encounters lately. Somewhere there's a digital flip number machine that says "Now Serving" with my name by it counting down to SOMEONE who holds that "the one" ticket....

My sister has ridiculous self-esteem issues and has had a string of not-so-nice boyfriends. In her mind, having something, is better than having nothing at all. Personally, I don't agree with that. |

ohhhh that. Yeah if I know I'm not gonna marry the guy ever, I'll just let him go. That's what he said today, that their relationship won't go anywhere, but they have a good time together... I say, if you are wasting your time with someone, you'll miss that "one" I did date somebody last summer that I knew I couldn't have a future with. But...I did enjoy his company quite a bit. I had a tough time figuring out when to end it. I was enjoying myself. He got serious (too fast) and I knew it had to stop. |
