Prejudice and hate, shall we make this our fate, or engage in
debate to change it? How many have to die? How many have to try to shake up the political foundation that perpetuates and denigrates fellow humankind? We say things are better, but just ask those who live in shame through this every day strain, this every day pain. They’ll tell us their stories, yet we may refute because our world often disputes, Truth. All people are equal, but that’s not the sequel as it turns out. If we have any doubt ask those just mentioned. They’ll tell of the tension, and of their attempts at ascending and even transcending these evils. Will we engage in debate to conquer prejudice and hate? If we chose to come together, we could make this all better in the blink of an eye. Ignorance is bliss, if we insist that nothing can be done. Anything can be done. But may we first realize, without compromise, that we truly are One. JDS 05/06/08 |

Thank you for being such a creative writer and having the nerve to cover a subject that so many would pretend does not exist.
